Une troisième mi-temps d’anthologie

Bonjour à toutes et à tous ! Je ne saurais vous expliquer comment j’ai fait pour être à l’heure ce matin car les heures qui ont suivi le Day 1B furent riches en tournées de cidre, parties de beer-pong et rondes de karaoké braillardes. Quand j’ai fini par rendre les armes, il était quatre heures du matin, et la salle de jeux était encore pleine de joyeux fêtards. Un bon dessin valant mieux qu’un long discours, je laisse parler les images, avant que nous attaquions le Day 2 du Main Event...

Day 2, c’est du sérieux

Comme s'il s'agissait de faire monter un peu la pression, la table télévisée a été montée dans la nuit au fond de la salle principale dans laquelle le tournoi se déroule.

A l'entame de ce Day 2, tous les survivants sont maintenant réunis. C'est au nombre de 294 qu'ils sont revenus ouvrir leur sac de jetons et un peu plus d'un tiers d'entre verra la couleur de l'argent puisque Matthieu Duran, maitre de cérémonie des tournois live Winamax, a annoncé au micro que les places payées seront au nombre de 107.

Le siège vide en avant plan est celui de Philippe "heffy33" qui, à quelques minutes du coup d'envoi, n'a manifestement pas encore réussi à trouver où s'asseoir.

Concernant les portés disparus dont nous attendions des nouvelles, je suis au regret de vous annoncer l'élimination de claudius59 au cours du Day 1B, peu de temps après le retour de la pause diner.

Enfin, concernant le last longer des Wameurs, voici les prétendants encore en course ce matin : giloutou (avec un tapis de 59 200), -Mjalien- (51 300), heffy33 (31 300) et TimeToRaise dont l'argent m'a été donné par un tiers et duquel je n'ai aucune nouvelle depuis deux jours si ce n'est qu'il est en piste ce matin.

Pour ceux qui m’ont demandé hier des nouvelles de SiCkLuCkBoX, je viens de retrouver sa trace : il est de la partie aujourd’hui avec un bon stack de 71 300 jetons, ce qui est supérieur au tapis moyen.

Loyher impayée

Une trentaine d'éliminations durant les vingt premières minutes de ce Day 2 et dans le lot, forcément, pas mal de joueurs ou joueuses qui étaient shortstacks au moment du coup d'envoi...

On a notamment perdu Marie Loyher qui avait terminé 15e l'an passé. La joueuse de la communauté French No Limit a patienté quelques orbites avant de trouver As-5 au bouton, et surtout une série de folds jusqu'à elle ; Marie en a donc profité pour pousser son petit tapis, mais dans les blindes, l'un de ses adversaires l'a payée avec une meilleure main - As-10 - et l'a éliminée.

Retour en douceur

C'est avec un stack relativement réduit que Mickaël "_jean" reprend du service aujourd'hui. Cela ne l'empêche pas d'investir son faible capital de 27 800 jetons lorsqu'il en a l'occasion. Au moment où j'arrive à sa table, il est en face à face avec le joueur de grosse blind qui a probablement défendu après une relance de _jean. Le flop AA4 est checké par les deux adversaires et le Wameur profitera du 2 tombé sur la rivière pour se saisir de quelques jetons afin de miser. Sans même attendre le montant demandé par ce dernier, la BB jette ses cartes dans le muck et notre Wameur s'empare de son premier pot de la journée afin de respirer un brin.

Gaëlle à la peine

Dans le ventre mou du classement au départ de cette journée, Gaëlle a fait un bond... en arrière ! La faute à un mauvais coup encaissé contre son voisin de droite Ondrej Sleis.

Le joueur tchèque a sur-relancé à tapis pour 23 000 depuis le bouton après une relance du cutoff et Gaëlle l'a imité en faisant à son tour tapis en petite blinde pour isoler son adversaire. Le relanceur initial a sagement passé et on a pu découvrir les mains : AJ pour Ondrej et AQ pour la joueuse Winamax. Devant, Gaëlle est vite passée derrière avec l'apparition d'un Valet sur le flop. Et c'est désormais elle qui est en danger avec un tapis chutant à 13 000.

Je retrouve enfin Philippe "heffy33" à la place qui lui était allouée, mais celui-ci est relativement mécontent à cause de la lenteur de la connexion internet. Alors que je m'approche, il me glisse dans l'oreille :

- AA et KK, je prends que les blinds, tu le crois ça ?

- T'es à combien du coup ?

- Bha 3 ou 4 000 de plus qu'hier (ndlr : soit environ 35 000 pour un tapis moyen de 68 000 sur des blinds 800 / 1 600 / 200). T'as pris la photo là ?

- Oui oui, avec les lunettes noires et tout.

- Nan mais recommence, avec le téléphone ça fait mieux.

- Ha, pardon.

Jimmy respire

Lanterne rouge à la reprise, notre collègue du bureau Jimmy a quitté cette position inconfortable en doublant son petit tapis. Un coup classique : il pousse sa petite dizaine de blindes en resteal avec un honnête KQ et se fait payer par son adversaire en possession de AT. Ses 40% de chances de remporter le coup se matérialisent alors dès le flop avec l'arrivée d'une Dame.
